Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers

Is it safe to drive my vehicle after an accident?

That depends on the extent of the damage.  Please call your nearest Elmer’s Auto Body to answer your concerns.  We will arrange to have your car towed to our shop if it is unsafe.

Can I bring my car to Elmer’s Auto Body if my insurance company told me to take it to another body shop?

Yes.  It is your choice where to bring your car for repair. Elmer’s Auto Body works with every insurance company and will negotiate on your behalf to make sure that your repair meets the highest safety standards and only the highest quality parts available are used.  Our work is guaranteed for a lifetime.

My insurance company’s estimate is different that the one provided from Elmer’s Auto Body. Should I be concerned?

You should not be concerned.  When additional repairs are required to fix your car to pre-accident condition, we work with the insurance company and make any changes necessary to the original estimate to fulfill our promise of fixing your car with the highest quality parts and with your complete safety in mind.

Will I get a rental car?

Please check to see if your policy has rental car coverage.  If so, we will be happy to assist you in making a car rental reservation.
